 Excellence in Teaching Award
Over the years parents and students have thanked teachers during and at the end of the school year for the excellent work they have done. In an effort to acknowledge our teachers and provide an opportunity for parents and students to celebrate their teachers, the Lloydminster Public School Division has created the LPSD Excellence in Teaching Award.
Parents and students wishing to nominate their teacher may do so in writing or via email to the Director of Education by May 30 of the current school year. Parents and students are asked to highlight the actions and contributions by their teacher that have made a difference and served as an exemplar of excellence in teaching. Teachers will be recognized publicly by the Board of Education at the opening ceremonies of each school year and through local media. Portions of the written submissions will be used to capture the essence of the nomination for the teacher and to celebrate his or her accomplishments.
